ASUS ROG GPUs Has Massive Price Drop Up To P25K
ASUS ROG GPUs – The world of consumer graphics cards was shook when NVIDIA announced its RTX 3000 Series line of GPUs.
Many believe that the moment the 3000 series drops, all previous graphics cards would be obsolete. Obviously, “obsolete” would be such a harsh word to use. But, with the price/performance value you’d be getting with the new line-up, it’s not a word that’s far off.
The lowest variant of the 3000 series, the RTX 3070 was said to be faster than the previous RTX 2080TI at half the price. Naturally, this would cause the inevitable price drop of previous cards. And, lo and behold, ASUS did just that.
Now, the previous ASUS ROG RTX 20 Series had an insane price drop of up to P25,020. Previously, the RTX 2080 Super was priced at around 49,510. But, as of yesterday, the SRP for the card was priced at 24,490.
Now, all consumers need to do is find a retail store that already changed prices of their cards. But, with the way the economy is working amid the pandemic, it might take a few weeks for the prices to change.
Meanwhile, the market that’s sure to get lowered is the secondhand GPU market. Now, people just won’t buy a 2nd hand graphics card as the price for 2nd hand 20 series graphics cards is equal to a brand new one.
