Dingdong Dantes is in lock-in taping for his TV series
Kapuso Primetime King Dingdong Dantes shared that he needed to do this thing in order to contact his wife Marian Rivera and their two kids while he is in lock-in taping for Descendants of the Sun.
Dingdong is currently doing a soap opera with Jennylyn Mercado and it is a remake from the K-Drama series with the same title. Since the entertainment industry is observing the new normal due to the pandemic, talents are needed to spend several days or weeks within the location of the taping.
This is to ensure the safety of those involved in the production as well as the family of those working on the set. Dingdong Dantes shared that at first, it had to do some adjustments to cope up with the new protocols but eventually the flow of their work became smoother.
“Pero bonus talaga that the team has already established a good and smooth working relationship, kaya naging mas madali ang adjustment,” he said. Aside from the adjustments on the production set, Dingdong has to adjust also when it comes to communicating with his family.
He shared in his recent Instagram post that during their rest day, he “had to ride a few kilometers to get some signal within the property.” Even though it was hard for him to contact his family due to the bad signal, he had to do an effort to talk to his wife and their kids.
“Kahit mahirap ang connection, it’s time to check on my family – my wife and kids, who I truly miss; @dingdong.ph , which has an ongoing dry run; and @aktorph,” the Kapuso actor said.
