Michelle Dy Continues to Mourn Lloyd Cadena’s Death W/ Another Heartbreaking Tribute
MICHELLE DY – Social media influencer Michelle Dy continues to mourn the death of her friend Lloyd Cadena.
Celebrities and fans are now mourning the following the untimely death of Youtube sensation Lloyd Cadena. He was hailed as “one of the pioneers of Youtube vlogging” in the Philippines.
Lloyd’s death was announced by his family on his Facebook Page. He was known for his funny skits and larger-than-life energy.
In a previous article, Megastar Sharon Cuneta admitted that she was shocked when she first learned of the news. She said Lloyd Cadena is one of her “anak-anakans.”
Kapamilya star Ivana Alawi paid tribute to the vlogger in a special way. She accepted Lloyd’s last challenge, the bus wash challenge. The actress shared a photo of her cleaning a bus on her Facebook Page. In the caption, she said the funds collected from her upcoming vlog will be given to the bereaved family.
Last September 4, Lloyd Cadena’s BFF and fellow Youtuber Michelle Dy showed how devastated she was by his passing on her Instagram account. In the video, she listened to songs from Lloyd’s favorite singer Mariah Carey. She also raised a toast to honor her friend. The 28-year-old beauty and fashion influencer was one of the first to shared how she felt about the loss on social media.
“Si Lloyd ang unang [mag-tetext] sa akin…As simple as ‘I love you’ ‘yan ang una niyang text, and after that he will save me. He will save the day. Siya ang sasalo sa akin. We didn’t have so much friends, because we knew that both of us, alam namin na pareho kami, laging namismisinterpret,” she continued. “We both had strong personalities that not a lot could handle… but sa aming dalawa, we were our safe place. I was the only one that could handle him, and he was the only one that could handle me,” she wrote.
Until now, Michelle Dy continues to mourn the passing of her friend. In an earlier IG post, she posted a photo of the bag she received as a birthday gift from Lloyd.
