Milwaukee Bucks Boycott NBA Playoffs Games Amid Shooting Of Black Man Jacob Blake
NBA PLAYOFFS – NBA and the National Basketball Players Association announced that Milwaukee Bucks decided not to take the floor today.
Sports fans and basketball enthusiasts around the world are excited to watch their favorite teams on the National Basketball Association (NBA) playoffs. The playoffs were originally scheduled to begin on April 18. The association decided to suspend the season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Some of the basketball players tested positive for the coronavirus. Last month, things went smoothly for the association. They reported zero positive COVID-19 cases for several weeks in a row.
Recently, NBA and the National Basketball Players Association announced that they decided to postpone the playoff games scheduled for August 26. Based on a report from Philstar, Milwaukee Bucks decided not to take the floor today against Orlando Magic amid the shooting of black man Jacob Blake.

Jacob was shot several times in the back by white cops. The police officers responded to a call about domestic violence. It can be seen in the viral video that he was walking away from the cops who are carrying weapons. When he opens the door of his car, one of the cops grabs his shirt and opens fire. The incident lead to a night of protest.
According to the report, Jacob Blake’s three were inside the car while the cops open fire. He is currently paralyzed from the waist down.
Milwaukee Bucks made the extraordinary decision to protest the incident in Kenosha, Wisconsin. NBA took to social media to confirm the postponement of the game.
