Police In Bulacan Arrested Over Bribery And Extortion Money
POLICE IN BULACAN – A policeman was recently arrested for allegedly bribing and extorting money to drug suspects in Bulacan.

According to a Twitter post from DZMM Teleradyo, the Philippine National Police’s Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (PNP-IMEG) chief Police Brigadier General Ronald Lee reported that they conducted an entrapment operation against Police Master Sergeant David Gatchallian of Bocaue Municipal Police Station.
Lee added that they received a complaint that Gatchallian threatened the drug suspects and extorted money from them in exchange for their protection.
The complainant and the suspect agreed to meet to hand over the money. When the latter accepted the boodle money worth at about P10,000 and a cellphone in front of his residence in Brgy. Lolomboy in Bocaue, the police immediately arrested.
The suspect will be charged for robbery and extortion, as well as an administrative case.
