12 Violators Arrested In Gym In Quezon City Amid GCQ
GYM IN QUEZON CITY – Twelve persons were recently arrested in a fitness gym in Quezon City anid general community quarantine (GCQ).
According to GMA News, the Quezon City Task Force Disiplina went to the gym after they got a report that the facility was operating despite quarantine guidelines.
The task force added that the 12 violators were brought to Police Station and are facing charges for violation of RA 11332. The Task Force added that the owner of the gym may also face charges and may face closure.
“Matapos maiprofiling ng TFD ay dinala ang 12 kalalakihan sa tanggapan ng Police Station 6 na nakaharap sa paglabag sa kasong R.A 11332″,
“Posibleng managot ang may ari at maipasara ang naturang gym,”
RA 11332 prohibits mass gathering and requires the wearing of face masks or face protector.
Based on the report, presidential spokesperson Harry Roque earlier said that the Inter-Agency Task Force on Emerging Infectious Diseases or IATF-EID has banned the reopening of gyms and Internet cafes in areas under GCQ.
