Ben Affleck Returning As Batman In Upcoming Film “The Flash”
BEN AFFLECK – Hollywood actor Ben Affleck agreed to return as Batman in the upcoming film “The Flash.”
American actor, film director, and producer Ben Affleck played the superhero protector of Gotham City, Batman/Bruce Wayne in only three movies: “Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice,” “Suicide Squad,” and “Justice League.” He decided to hang up his cape and said goodbye to his character last year.
In his appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” last year, he explained why he will not be returning in the upcoming 2021 film “The Batman.” He said, “I tried to direct a version of it and worked with a really good screenwriter, but just couldn’t come up with a version, I couldn’t crack it. So I thought it was time to let someone else take a shot at it. They got some really good people, so I’m excited.”

Based on a report from Vanity Fair, Ben Affleck has agreed to return as Batman/Bruce Wayne in the upcoming big-screen version of “The Flash.” The film will not disrupt Robert Pattinson’s “The Batman” film.
The fast-moving superhero Barry Allen will be played by Ezra Miller. He first debuted as Barry Allen in 2016 DC’s film “Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice” and “Justice League” in 2017.
According to the report, Ben Affleck received the script of “The Flash” last week and recently agreed to the movie project. Director Andy Muschietti said Affleck will be a “very substantial part of the emotional impact of the movie.”
“The interaction and relationship between Barry and Affleck’s Wayne will bring an emotional level that we haven’t seen before. It’s Barry’s movie, it’s Barry’s story, but their characters are more related than we think. They both lost their mothers to murder, and that’s one of the emotional vessels of the movie. That’s where the Affleck Batman kicks in,” he added.
