Parañaque City Compound To Undergo 3-Day Calibrated Lockdown
PARAÑAQUE CITY COMPOUND – A compound in Parañaque City has recently underwent a three-day calibrated lockdown due to the number of COVID-19 cases there.
According to ABS-CBN News, there are currently 22 positive cases in Silverio Compound, Barangay San Isidro, which houses 10,000 residente, according to city administrator Ding Soriano.
There is a higher chance of a viral spread due to how closely near the houses are.
The area was on lockdown in order to give way to swab and rapid tests to residents and disinfection. Furthermore, needs of residents will be covered by the city and barangay government at the moment.
The residents are also not allowed to leave their residences unless they are government employees or health workers.
Based on the report, workers are also allowed to go out but have to present their government ID or certificate of employment. Employees, who are unable to be on duty due to the lockdown are also allowed to obtain a certificate of containment.
Quarantine passes also hold no value during this time. There are currently 96 active cases of COVID-19 in the entire Barangay San Isidro, according to the current tally of the Parañaque government.
