Mother Lily Wanted to Apply to GMA7 Even Salary is Only 4K per Taping
The “Regal Matriarch”, Mother Lily Monteverde said she wanted to apply on Kapuso network, GMA7 even her salary would be P4,000 only per taping.
At Mother Lily Monteverde’s birthday zoom party, August 19, 2020, she jokes her friends that she wanted to apply to the Kapuso network for a low talent fee. Many celebrities joined the zoom conference and greeted her.
This includes Ricky Davao, Judy Ann Santos-Agoncillo, Enchong Dee, Ritz Azul, Annette Gozon-Valdes, and many others. Media also joined the conference, which Mother always invited to her events.
At the age of 81, the Regal matriarch is still healthy and strong, so her only wish for her birthday is, “Good health at gusto kong umabot ng 100 years.” The media said that it was only 19 years to achieve what she hoped for her life, “Oo nga malapit na,” the lady producer joked.
Mother Lily is happy and does not seem to be affected by the pandemic because she is still joking like before when talking to the press people. She also jokes the GMA executive Ms. Annette
She said to Ms. Annete: “Sabihin mo sa daddy (Felipe Gozon) mo bigyan ako ng trabaho. Mag-a-apply ako kahit four thousand lang per taping.”

The TV executive laughed at Mother’s joke. Mother Lily also shared that since the lockdown, she has not been able to leave the house because the children do not want to let her out even if she only goes to the grocery store.
“Minsan akong lumabas sa gate, ibinalik ako ng guard. Ha-hahaha!” shared by the producer while laughing.
When she was asked how Regal Films’ film entry for MMFF 2020 “The Friends of Mama Susan” starring Joshua Garcia will be promoted. She just said “Hindi ko alam, tuloy ba ang Metro Manila Film Festival?” asking back to the media.
Ms. Roselle Monteverde said “Parang ang hirap. Nag-postpone nga ulit ang theater owners sa opening nila. Sa tingin n’yo kelan babalik ang normal? Next year na ‘no? Next year na siguro ang MMFF.”
Everyone agreed with what Ms. Roselle is back to normal in 2021. Meanwhile, Mother was always looking for Gabby Concepcion whom she called “Gabby Consumisyon” so everyone laughed.
So the lady producer mentioned this because Gabby has been hot in showbiz news because he did not attend her mother’s grave. As a result, his siblings were angry with the actor because of the property he sold and the family was not aware that his mother’s signature was forged.
