Lolit Solis talked about the career of Ivana Alawi
Daring actress Ivana Alawi is now being tagged as “The Pandemic Star” by entertainment columnist-talent manager Lolit Solis.
Ivana’s popularity skyrocketed when she started doing vlogs. In just a short period of time, her YouTube subscribers reached millions as well as her videos have millions of views.
Because of this popularity on social media, the daring actress was offered to star in her own teleserye. Unfortunately, the project took halt due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Manay Lolit expressed dismay that the career of Ivana that was supposed to fly high was stopped.
“Ewan ko dahil parang nasayang iyon pasabog ni Ivana Alawi na very hot lalo pa nga at pumirma sa Star Magic kaya lang inabot ng pandemic,” the talent manager said in her recent Instagram post.

She added that Ivana could have been one of the hottest names in the industry if not because of the pandemic. “Ang dami nag aabang, naghintay, sana nabigay na ni Perry pandemic bag ko, pero nabantilawan nga, pero sure na darating din iyan,” Manay Lolit said.
The veteran showbiz personality gave this moniker to Ivana Alawi: ” The Pandemic Star“.
Fans of the daring actress commented that even though the teleserye did not push through due to the pandemic, Ivana Alawi’s popularity on social did not change.
