This netizen explained the connection of Sexbomb Girls to COVID-19
Here is how netizen Vberni Regalado explained his claim that Sexbomb Girls predicted the occurrence of the COVID-19.
Amid the crisis that is happening now in the Philippines, Pinoys will always find a way to brighten up the situation. Many are still having a good laugh with simple things in their lives just like this netizen. Regalado shared in his Facebook post that “SEXBOMB PREDICTED COVID-19 15 YEARS AGO”.
The said all-female dancing and singing group was first launched in 1999 on the longest-running noontime show Eat Bulaga. Aside from being back-up dancers, they also ventured into singing and popularized several hit novelty songs.
One of the songs that they released was Spaghetti featuring Henyo Master Joey de Leon. According to Regalado, this song is the “proof” that the Sexbomb Girls predicted the novel coronavirus disease 2019.
“Grabe talaga ang powerful ng Sexbomb imagine 15 years ago alam na nilang magkaka-COVID-19 and even promoted physical distancing!!!” he said.
Then, the netizen enumerated the parts of the lyrics wherein physical distancing or social distancing is being encouraged.
OMG SEXBOMB IS SUCH A GENIUS *sinuntok ang pader*
He also pointed out that the “pababa” and “pataas” lyrics showed that “they know WE WON’T FLATTEN THE CURVE!!!”
Based on the article from GMA Entertainment, the one who made this hilarious conspiracy theory is a Media Relations Officer and a recovering COVID-19 patient.
Here is the post of Regalado.
