FBI Raids Home Of Famous YouTuber, Jake Paul
FBI RAIDS FAMOUS YOUTUBER – Agents from the Federal Bureau of Investigation visited YouTube personality, Jake Paul with a search warrant.
This was due to reports that Paul was involved with a recent riot in a shopping mall in Arizona. Upon investigating Paul’s Calabasas home, the FBI seized multiple firearms connected to the riots.
During an on-scene report, ABC7 saw authorities confiscated multiple firearms scattered across the home. This included a long gun casually placed against a hot tub in the backyard. However, Paul was not in his home during the raid according to his lawyers.
Earlier in June, Paul was charged with a misdemeanor following a riot that broke out in a strip mall in Phoenix Arizona. But, according to Paul, he was just looking for people protesting against the death of George Floyd.
Meanwhile, in a follow-up video, Paul said that he was just trying to share his experience to bring more attention to the pressing issue. Furthermore, he denied any form of looting was done by him or his crew.
Aside from the raid, Paul also received backlash from the members of his neighborhood for throwing a large party amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Social distancing was not practiced and guests didn’t even wear masks.
As per the article, Mayor Alicia Weintraub said:
I was very upset that somebody would hold such an outrageous gathering in our community..
We’re trying to do everything we can to get our numbers down and keep our community safe, and something like this just does the opposite.
