This ad featuring Manny Pangilinan and Albee Benitez circulated online
TV5 Chairman Manny Pangilinan and former Negros Occidental Representative Albee Benitez were featured in this ad stating that they are offering help for the ABS-CBN employees.
Reportedly, the Kapatid channel is reviving its entertainment section. It was has been reported also that the former politician who is also known as a businessman is planning to produce blocktimer shows on TV5.
Based on the article from PEP, the ad featuring Pangilinan and Benitez has this statement:
“Our doors are open for ABS-CBN employees who lost their jobs as a result of the non-renewal of their network’s franchise.
“We would be happy to offer a helping hand to our comrades in the industry.
“Sino-sino pa ba ang magtutulungan kundi tayo ring magkakapatid at magkakapamilya sa industriya?”
However, reportedly, the negotiation between the ex-politician and the management of the Kapatid network is still on-going. That is why the statement is still not official yet.

Benitez also aims to be like Tony Tuviera of APT Entertainment in producing blocktimer shows on TV5 such as the game shows Fill In The Blank and Bawal Na Game Show, aside from the morning talk show titled Rise and Shine.
Meanwhile, based on the report, the talk show of Kris Aquino titled Love Life With Kris, which was rumored to be canceled, is set to air on August 22 if the plans will not be changed.
This will be included in the first wave of the new shows on TV5 as it is expected that the Kapatid network will be revived after the franchise application of ABS-CBN was rejected.
Reportedly, Manny Pangilinan is conducting negotiation with the officials of the Kapamilya network to revive the entertainment content of TV5.
