Bantay Bata 163 is the network’s Lingkod Kapamilya Foundation’s social welfare program. Its aim is to protect children who are disadvantaged and at-risk with the use of a nationwide network of social services.

According to Kapamilya Online World, the denial of the franchise renewal of the network has gravely affected the said program.

The program also stopped accepting new scholars as a result of the franchise denial.

This was from Bantay Bata 163 director Jing Castañeda who said the following:

“The program will no longer accept new applications due to the limited funding as the broadcast franchise denial to ABS-CBN forced it to cease some of its business operations.”

“Sa lahat ng napa-graduate natin, gusto kong mag-thank you sa kanila sa opportunity na binigay nila sa foundation. Binuksan po nila ang puso nila para makagawa tayo ng pagbabago sa buhay nila.”
