Kapamilya actor Sam Milby, when he confirmed his relationship with Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray, he said in his post: “It’s worth the wait.”
Although rumors linking them romantically have been circulating since early 2019, that confirmation of the actor still brought “kilig” to their fans. However, a conflict arose when model-actor Clint Bondad broke his social media hiatus.
Clint is the ex-boyfriend of Catriona and their relationship lasted for six years. Speculations also surfaced that the beauty queen already started dating Sam even before she broke up with the model-actor.

On the other hand, that statement of the Kapamilya star about his new-found love with Catriona caught the attention of Instagram user @kimeeyuy. The said IG handler shared a video of Sam which appeared to be from a TV interview.
Apparently, the singer-actor was talking about his relationship with Mari Jasmine, his ex-girlfriend who is model. “It was worth the wait. Ahm, hindi ko ma-explain, it just felt right,” Sam said during the interview. His photo with his ex-girlfriend was even flashed on the screen.
This was Sam’s exact caption when he confirmed his relationship with Catriona. “Worth every second of the wait. Most special birthday yet,” he wrote.
