The mother of Kim Idol has to carry this burden
Comedian Kim Idol is currently struggling with his health condition and his mother is carrying the burden of deciding on what to do to his life support.
Stated in a previous report, Kim was volunteering as a marshal of the Bureau of Quarantine at the Philippine Arena amid the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, as he was assisting others for their medical concern, Kim was found unconscious and was rushed to Manila Central University Hospital in Caloocan City.
Maria Argente, the mother of the 41-year-old comedian said that fatigue may have contributed to the “tangle of abnormal blood vessels connecting arteries and veins in his brain”. Following this, friends and family of Kim asked prayers for he is in a critical condition.
In a recent article published by Bandera, the decision of the mother of Kim Idol is to wait until all the medicines are consumed and then the life support will be removed.
However, the aunt of Kim insisted not to do this because she believes that her niece is still alive. Entertainment columnist Reggee Bonoan asked thecomedian’s friend Briane Alejandria regarding the final decision of the mother.
“Nagdadalawang-isip pa. Sobrang hirap kasi talaga para sa mother ang mag-decide,” Kim’s friend shared.
Meanwhile, the family of the comedian are asking for donation for his hospital bill. Kim Idol’s hospital bill has reached P87,000 as of press time.
Based on the article, Kim said this in a previous interview: “Pahinga na muna ang aking entertainer alter ego na si Kim Idol habang idle pa ang entertainment business, normal na buhay muna as a government employee with my real identity Michael Argente!”
