Malaysian National Rescued From Two Foreign Kidnappers

MALAYSIAN NATIONAL – A Malaysian national was rescued from two foreign kidnappers in an entrapment operation in Mabalacat town, Pampanga.

According to ABS-CBN, the arrested kidnappers were identified as Rano Herman, an Indonesian national, and Ong Way Plak, a Malaysian.

Anti-Kidnapping Group’s Police Major Rannie Lumactod that the kidnapping of the said Malaysian, identified as Lee Jun Sheng, was related to casino and POGO.

The victim and suspects were working under the same company as POGO workers.

Initial investigations show that the victim wants to go home but was unable to due to the debts from the company who doesn’t want let the victim go.

Lee was sold to another company to work as a slave but was eventually returned to the said company. This is when the suspects asked the victim for money.

The suspects kept on asking the victim’s family, which prompted the Malaysian Embassy representative to approach the PNP Anti-Kidnapping to report the incident.

The operation was immediately executed in a mall in Malabanias town, Angeles City.

Based on the report, the two suspects were arrested after the ransom courier signaled the operatives after the transaction.

Upon interrogation, the suspects said that Lee is in a dormitory in Sun Valley, Angeles.\

The suspects were further taken to Camp Crame.
