Shooting In Donsol, Sorsogon Leaves Former Soldier Injured
SHOOTING IN DONSOL – A former Philippine Army member was injured in a shooting in Donsol town, Sorsogon on Wednesday evening.
Donsol police chief Major Jose Michael Aurelio said that the injured, identified as Nomer Dacillo, aged 59, was near his motorcycle when he was shot by an unknown assailant at 11:40 PM in Barangay Rawis, according to Inquirer.
The victim sustained bullet wounds in his stomach and left foot and was eventually taken to the Bicol Regional Training and Teaching Hospital for medical treatment.
Recovered from the incident were six cartridge cases of unknown caliber and four unfired bullets, also of unknown caliber.
Based on the report, the police has to conduct further probe to determine the motive of the crime.
