Comedian John Lapus imitated Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque in his viral interview on CNN Philippines.

Amid the pandemic, press briefing and interviews with public officials and department heads became extra special as this is the way for the public to keep updated on the latest happenings in the country.

During a recent interview, CNN Philippines journalist Pinky Webb introduced the Presidential Spokesperson but there was no response from the other line. However, the audience can see the split-screen as the other side showed Roque.

The program host called the name of the guest for several times but there was no answer. Because of this, several memes were created.

Twitter user @Mang_INASAR retweeted the post and tagged John Lapus and asked the comedian if he could beat that.

John shared his video imitating the facial expression of the Harry Roque in his viral interview. The comedian’s post simply has this caption: “Ang alin?”

The netizen replied saying that the comedian is the look-alike of the Presidential Spokesperson. Then, John said, “Bunganga mo naman! (zany face emoji).”

Meanwhile, John Lapus recently captured the attention of netizens when he posted this cryptic post: “Never bite the hands that feed (or even fed) you because #UtangNaLoobIsAVirtue.”

This came after the revelation of singer Daryl Ong that he and Bugoy Drilong was banned by an ABS-CBN boss due to their conversation about the network’s franchise issue. Some netizens easily thought that it was his “patama” against the singer.
