Lorna Tolentino shared this about ‘Ang Probinsyano’ lock-in taping
Award-winning actress Lorna Tolentino talked her situation in Ang Probinsyano‘s lock-in taping amid the “new normal” due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The entertainment industry is greatly affected by the health crisis in the Philippines. Live shows were temporarily stopped and taping or shootings for TV series and movies were postponed.
When the situation slowly getting back to what it used to, things did not completely return to normal. That is why, everyone is now coping up with the “new normal” including the people in show business.
One of the shows that resumed the taping after the lockdown is the Kapamilya primetime series Ang Probinsyano of Coco Martin. As one of the cast members, Lorna Tolentino also has to agree with the lock-in taping setup.
However, Lolit Solis, the talent manager of the prominent actress revealed the latter was shocked when they were housed in a motel. Based on the article from Pilipino Star Ngayon, Lorna complained to her manager regarding their venue were they had to stay.
It was said that the actress did not expect that it was a motel since the name sounded good. Because of this, Lorna wasn’t able to sleep well during their first night in the said motel.
The management of the motel sends a bill to Manay Lolit with the P214 per hour rate which could understand that the establishment caters a “short time”. Lorna Tolentino also told her manager that the motel only has two personnel and there no staff members just like a normal hotel have.
Manay Lolit shared this situation that Lorna revealed to her during the recent episode of Take It… Per Minute, Me Ganun! Before the said episode ended, “Ms. D” called the talent manager and told her that Lorna will be transferred to a hotel near ABS-CBN.
Meanwhile, as of Tuesday, Lolit said that Lorna has no idea yet regarding her talent fee. This aspect is also greatly affected by the pandemic. The talent manager joked that the actress might appear in the ABS-CBN franchise hearing to complain to congressmen if she will know the amount of her talent now.
