Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto revealed the reason behind his absence in the Father’s Day celebration with his father Bossing Vic Sotto.
Vico, just like his father also has his comedic side. On June 21, as the world was celebrating Father’s Day, the young politician also greeted his father but with his signature humor.
He shared an edited photo of the Eat Bulaga host on the character of Captain Ri from the popular K-drama series Crash Landing On You. This received funny comments from netizens.
When, his mother, veteran actress Coney Reyes celebrated her birthday last month, Vico also shared a funny photo as his birthday greeting. His humor is one of the factors why netizens would always gush about him, of course, aside from the public services that he does for his constituents.

In his recent Facebook Post, Vico Sotto revealed the reason why he wasn’t able to celebrate Father’s Day with Vic Sotto. As usual, it incorporated his humor.
“Father’s Day 2020. I wish i could spend some time with Papa or even my brothers. But i dont want to put them at risk. Kaya ayun, nag meeting na lang kami sa opis tungkol sa palengke at sa economic stimulus package na isusumite namin sa Sanggunian bukas para sa approval nila,” he wrote.
Then, the mayor said, “Wag kayong mag-alala… alam kong Sunday naman ngayon… so we kept our meeting very SHORT,” as they were wearing shorts.
