Viva welcomes Kelsey Merritt
Filipino-American model Kelsey Merritt is officially the newest angel of Viva Artists Agency (VAA).
The talent management company welcomed Kelsey in their family through these Instagram posts. She rose to fame when she became the first-ever Filipina to do a modeling stint for Victoria’s Secret.
In the world of modeling in the Philippines, she is considered as one of the prominent names because of that international project.
Kelsey is from Pampanga and when she pursued her international modeling career, she stayed in New York City. Prior to that, she already did several modeling projects in the Philippines. The 23-year-old model appeared in several TV commercials such as in Palmolive, San Miguel Light, and the local clothing brand Kashieca.

In 2018, she was one of the models who walked down Victoria’s Secret runway. Because of that, she was noticed by international media outlets such as Teen Vogue and E! News.
Aside from that achievement, Kelsey Merritt also became the first-ever Filipina model to be featured in the pages of the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue. Being featured in both is a very rare opportunity in the modeling world.
Moreover, the Fil-Am model also has something to be proud of when it comes to being smart. At the age of 20, she graduated at the Ateneo de Manila University with a degree in AB Communication, based on the IG post of Viva Artists Agency.
