Police Claim More Illegal Chinese Clinics Are Still Secretly Operating in Parañaque

PARAÑAQUE CITY – Authorities claim that there are still illegal Chinese clinics and establishments secretly operating within the city.

There is a “big possibility” that there are other illegal Chinese clinics in Parañaque following the recent discovery of 2 medical establishments that cater Chinese patients who were allegedly positive with coronavirus disease (COVID-19).

“Marami nga pong Chinese din na nakatira dito. Siguro mas nagtitiwala iyong mga Chinese na Chinese din ang tumitingin sa kanilang kalusugan,” said Parañaque police chief Col. Robin King Sarmiento.

“Ang problema po, baka hindi naman nasusunod iyong minimum health standard dahil hindi nga rehistrado, hindi naiinspeksyon,” he added.

Based on the report of ABS-CBN News, there are 24 Philippine Offshore Gaming Operators (POGO) in the city and most of them are Chinese employees.

More Illegal Chinese Clinics

Previously, a new underground clinic in Parañaque was raided by the authorities. Police discovered illegal medicines and medical equipment with the Chinese brands.

It was also discovered that these medical facility is treating Chinese nationals who tested positive with COVID-19. The underground clinic near the private village in Parañaque was also a prostitute den aside from being a secret medical facility.

Several illegal medical facilities for Chinese were also discovered and raided by authorities. The first was discovered and leisure park in Clark, Pampanga. Others are discovered in Makati.
