Two Newly-Identified Drug Suspects Arrested In Zamboanga City

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Two newly-identified drug personalities were arrested in Barangay Ayala, Zamboanga City in an anti-drug operation.

This was a report from the police on Thursday, June 4, who said that the two suspects were arrested, according to SunStar.

The local city police office (ZCPO) identified the two individuals as Marcelito Hasil, aged 50, a fish merchant; and Brando Casanillo, aged 37, a fisherman.

They were arrested by drug enforcement unit of the Police Station 9 in an anti-drug operation around 8 PM Wednesday, June 3 at Zone 6 in Ayala village in the city.

Recovered from their possessions were suspected shabu which is worth at around ₱4,700 and is packed in 10 plastic sachets, ₱200 worth of marked money, and two packs of cigarettes.

Based on the report, they were placed under the custody of Police Station 9. The police added that they will file appropriate charges against the two suspects.
