Netizen’s Negative Posts Slamming Anti-Terror Bill On Facebook On Crack Down?

ANTI-TERROR BILL – As the Anti-Terrorism bill is close to being passed, netizen’s negative posts slamming the controversial bill is being silenced.

Many say that the bill would provide the government with a way to silence their critics, invade privacy, and kill free speech. Moreover, the bill allows the government to make warrantless arrests if they see fit. Additionally, it also removes the accountability of the government to compensate those found not guilty of being a terrorist.

But now, posts with the #JunkTerrorBill are now being removed on Facebook. However, this is not an isolated case. Several users have reported that the posts they shared are being flagged by Facebook as spam.

Hundreds more posts have been removed. One of the explanations for this may be due to mass reporting from those in favor of the bill. If an original post gets reported as spam, it may affect the posts of those who shared it.

However, that’s just one theory as Facebook’s algorithm remains a secret. But, the social media platform had already had run-ins with controversy regarding its involvement in politics.
