He can allegedly heal any illness and diseases even those who were hit by COVID-19. In a report of GMA News, the suspect, Rolando Ramirez, was arrested on Saturday at his home in Barangay Talon 1.

Ramirez was among 23 prisoners in a Bacoor jail who escaped in July 2018. According to Police Colonel Vicente Cabatingan, Bacoor Police chief, they received information on Ramirez’s whereabouts after his name became popular as he was a doctor.

A photo of Ramirez was sent to them, and even though the man had his face masked in the picture, they could see the resemblance to the suspect. Authorities, therefore, monitored his location in Las Piñas, and when confirmed that it was Ramirez, the raid started.

After fleeing the jail, Ramirez allegedly hid in Infanta, Quezon where he learned medicine. He went to Las Piñas when he was asked for help to treat a COVID-19 positive patient. So far, only one of the 23 escaped prisoners has been wanted by authorities.
