Hair and makeup artist’s creation for the ABS-CBN franchise issue
ABS-CBN Franchise Issue – Jackie Rivera, a hair and makeup artist showed his support for the Kapamilya network with his creations.
Various sectors have aired their sides and point of views regarding the issue on the franchise renewal of ABS-CBN. Although some are very vocal in supporting the TV giant, there were those who use other means to show their support.
One example to that is Jackie who has been part of the industry of hair and make-up styling. In the recent Twitter post of DZMM TeleRadyo, the artist shared his creations as his way of showing support for ABS-CBN.
He created hairstyles that reflected the colors in the logo of the media company. Jackie did one hairstyle for a man using the red, green, and blue colors. Meanwhile, for the woman, the hair and makeup artist used the logo of the TV network as a headdress.
“Sana ang ginawa kong hairstyle makarating sa mga empleyado ng ABS-CBN. Lalong-lalo na ang 11,000,” Jackie Rivera said. He also said that he hopes through his creation the employees of the TV giant would feel his support for them.
The hair and makeup artist also hopes that everything will be okay soon so that they could go back to their jobs in the network.
Meanwhile, ABS-CBN CEO Carlo Katigbak reiterated that the TV company has not violated any law. He also answered the allegations against their network during the House hearing on the ABS-CBN franchise last June 1.
“Hindi po binenta ng Lopez family ang ABS-CBN. Basta ginamit nalang ng iba ang mga facilities ng ABS-CBN na walang binayaran. Kaya hindi po totoo ang paratang na bigla nalang napasakamay muli sa mga Lopez ang ABS-CBN dahil sila naman ang tunay na may-ari nito,” Katigbak stressed regarding the alleged Lopezes’ illegal acquisition of the media company.
