RIDDLES – Another riddle has been making rounds in social media this quarantine season and it goes “My Daughter Was Playing With A Book”.
There are many version of this riddle, some stated that it was the daughter, some said it was a nephew or a son. However, that doesn’t matter because the important question was how many pages were torn out?

The full question goes like this:
My daughter was playing with a book and tore out pages 7, 8, 100, 101, 222 and 223. How many pages did she tear out?
The answer for this riddle is 5 Pages!! Here’s why!
Each of the numbers in the book has an odd even number. We also have to take note that books are printed back to back. Therefore, we could say that 1 page of the book goes like “1-2, 3-4, 5-6”.
So, we could see that 7-8 is a single page. Next, 99-100 is also a single page. Afterward, 101-102 is also a single page, afterward, pages 221-222 is the same, and finally, page 223 and 224 are also a single page.
As such, the total number of pages is 5.
