Flying Turtle Smashes Through Windscreen In Georgia Freeway
FLYING TURTLE – The year 2020 has been filled with unfavorable events such as almost starting world war III, volcanoes simultaneously erupting, and of course, the coronavirus pandemic.
However, 2020 has yet to give us a turtle smashing through cars. Well, if that’s what you wanted out of the new year, here it is!
A real-life Mario Kart incident happened earlier in May in a Georgia Freeway as Latonya Lark was given a shock to her heart. According to an article from Unilad, the turtle may have been hit by another car which caused it to soar through the air. Some theorize that the turtle was dropped by a bird of prey soaring through the sky.
As a result, Latonya’s windscreen had a surprise visit from the turtle who completely penetrated the glass. Luckily, even with the windscreen damaged, Latnoya’s was unharmed while the passenger with her had a few minor cuts.
Meanwhile, according to the police that reported on the scene, Latnoya was lucky. They explained that if her windshield wasn’t as thick, things would’ve been disastrous.
So, now we know that the driver and passenger were safe. But, how about the poor turtle?
Thankfully, the turtle, thanks to its trusty shell, survived the incident. Unfortunately, it lost a leg due to the impact.
As per the article, the turtle was taken to the Savannah Animal Care for medical treatment. But, On May 26, Latonya received some awful news. Doctors said that the turtle passed away due to blood loss.
