Dollar Store Security Guard Shot Over Mask Policy
SECURITY GUARD SHOT – A grim fate befell a Family Dollar Store security guard after telling customers they can’t go inside the store without face masks.
Amid the coronavirus pandemic, one of the best ways to protect yourselves and the people around you is by using face masks. However, some people could care less about preventing the spread of the virus.
According to an article from Washington post, the security guard was killed after explaining to a customer that masks are needed to enter the store. The argument began when Calvin Munnerlyn explained to Lashe Teague, that a no mask no entry policy was in place.
After the initial confrontation, Lashe yelled and spat on the security guard, drove off and left. But, around 20 mins later, she came back with her husband, Larry Edwarg Teague, and her son, Ramonyea Travon Bishop.
They went and confronted the security guard and their son, Bishop, pulled a gun out and shot Munerlyn. Sadly, the security guard died due to the gunshot.
As per the article, the shooting was merely the latest incident in recurring crimes due to people against coronavirus safety protocols. Afterward, following the incident, the police are now on the hunt for the suspects.
All three suspects were charged with first-degree and premeditated murder and gun violations. In addition, Larry Teague, is charged with violating the mandated mask policy.
Meanwhile, County Commissioner Bryant Nolden during a conference said:
When I found out what had happened to him, it really broke my heart because I knew what kind of person he was
