This was a statement from Negros Occidental Provincial Disaster Management Program Division chief Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian who further urged the said OFWs to cooperate, according to a pos from The Visayan Daily Star’s official Facebook page.

There are some of them who refuse to board the bus that will bring them to the EB Magalona healing center for orientation and testing before clearing them for transfer to hotels or inns that are provided by the OWWA.

Caelian warned that the OFWs will be taken back to the shop should they refuse to comply with the protocol.

As per the report, among the OFWs were those who insisted that they want to go home immediately. Caelian, however, said that they will not be accepted by the various LGUs until they are cleared by the provincial government.
