Sandwich Guitarist Diego Castillo Announces Wife Nikki Cruz is Pregnant W/ First Child
SANDWICH GUITARIST – The guitarist of Pinoy rock band Sandwich, Diego Castillo announced his wife Nikki Cruz is pregnant with their first child.
Diego Castillo is the guitarist of the Filipino alternative rock band Sandwich. They’re one of the most popular bands in the Philippines. They have received recognition from various award shows.
Their hit tracks were “Nahuhulog,” “Two Trick Pony,” and “Masilungan.” Their songs were embraced by fans nationwide.
Diego Castillo and Nikki Cruz tied the knot on August 17, 2018. On Sunday, May 17, the Sandwich guitarist announced that he and his wife are expecting their first child.
Catillo took to his Instagram account to share the good news with their friends and followers. He penned a touching tribute to his wife and shared a sonogram and their selfies.
“The greatest things that have ever happened in my life has been because of one person,” he said.
In the lengthy Instagram post, the musician expressed his gratitude to his wife for preparing him to become the father he wanted to be in the future. He couldn’t contain his excitement for Nikki’s pregnancy. He also admitted that they are facing challenges in pregnancy amid the pandemic.
“Now, a new and most wonderful thing has yet again been afforded to me by her to be able to start our family and be a father. Crazy!”
