Video footage of a parish priest who continue to do the mass while his devotees riding a boat due to a high level of flood in their area goes viral.

The video of the priest who wouldn’t budge the flood and continued to mass has gone viral on social media. The video was shared by netizen Don Alberto, where the priest was seen drowning in the flood and only his altar was raised.

The video was taken in Sitio Pariahan, Taliptip, Bulakan, Bulacan, a parish priest still held a mass for the feast of their patron Santa Cruz.  Fr. Mon R. Garcia III continues the mass even the area was flood due to the rising sea levels.

The chapel is also small, but it is also visible to residents who still want to attend church mass. On board in their boat, nothing could stop them from listening to the mass and being blessed by the priest.

Young or old, they are determined to pray and strengthen their faith. However, some netizens have noticed that residents do not seem to have masks.

Likewise, the priest is concerned about their health. Some even speculate that the video may have been taken before coronavirus disease (COVID-19) struck the country.
