Under the modified enhanced community quarantine (MECQ) several industries are allowed to resume operation but only 50 percent of their workforce is physically present. Public transportation is still prohibited, tricycles and jeepneys are not allowed to be hired as service vehicle of some companies.

Street vendors such as Taho and Balut vendors are now allowed to work but still observe the COVID-19 safety measures. Street vendors should stay on one place and they are not allowed to peddle their products, based on the guidelines of MECQ.

People who would go for exercise, jogging, and biking are also allowed in the areas placed under MECQ, as long as they would not clump together and should also observe COVID-19 safety measures such as physical distancing and wearing of face mask.
