Kamikazee vocalist Jay Contreras and wife actress Sarah Abad caught the attention of many netizens as speculations about their split-up surfaced.
Jay and Sarah tied the knot back in 2009 in a very unique wedding ceremony. It was called the “black wedding” which is an unusual motif for this kind of event. However, they were able to pull that off because it fit with their personalities.
The band Kamikazee is known for its rock songs with witty lyrics that would also bring out laughter from music enthusiasts. Most probably, the wedding that Jay wanted also reflected his band’s identity.
Sarah, the sister of actress Kaye Abad, although she was a former child star who was known as “iyakan”, has shown a confident personality as a grown-up. Jay and Sarah clicked together and are blessed with two kids named Kidlat Caia and Isla Eunan.
In a recent Instagram post of Jay Contreras, he greeted Sarah for the Mother’s Day celebration. The band vocalist shared a cartoon version of Sarah Abad’s photo with the caption, “Happy Mothers Day we Love You.“
The reply of the actress to this was “It may not be the same between us, but I’ll forever grateful for giving me two wonderful angels. Thank you.” And that broke the hearts of many netizens.
