Barangay’s Safety Protocol to Prevent COVID-19 Spread Viral Online
SAFETY PROTOCOL – Unique safety measures of a barangay to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in their area goes viral.
Since the Philippines has been struck by the coronavirus disease (COVID-19), the government immediately imposed safety measures, which is enhanced community quarantine to prevent the spread of the virus.
Local government are also doing their best to protect their town and municipalities from the dreadful virus. Barangay government also have their different measures to protect their constituents from being contracted.
Meanwhile, in a video shared by a Facebook page named Glicelyn TV, a man can be seen returning to his barangay after he went out to buy needs for his family. But before finally enter their barangay to return home, body temperature was checked.
Additionally, it is necessary to dip into a water drum with a disinfectant to ensure the resident is “clean” before they can reach their home. The man confidently does the protocol, not wondering that he’s wearing clothes and shoes while dipping in the drum with water.
The video has gone viral on social media as netizens laugh at the unique safety protocol video of the barangay. Even the person who takes the video was laughing at the courageous man who obeys the safety protocol. However, some netizens criticize their way as it was not helpful and will easily contract the virus.
