Coco Martin wanted by this senior citizen stuntman
A senior citizen stuntman reached out to Ang Probinsyano lead actor Coco Martin because of this particular reason.
Amid the enhanced community quarantine, stuntmen were among the members of the entertainment industry who temporarily lose their jobs. One of them is Reynaldo Cristobal who is known as Rey Solo in show business.
Based on the article from Bandera, he has been working as a stuntman for 40 years now. During the ECQ, Rey said that the relief goods that they receive is not enough because his wife suffered from stroke. They have no means to support the medication of his wife.
Rey wanted to go back to work but since the ECQ is still being implemented, he can’t do that. The fact that ABS-CBN was stopped to broadcast also added to his burden and uncertainty.
“Napakahirap po nang di lumalabas ng bahay lalo na kung nasanay ka noon na araw-araw nasa taping nasa shooting, pagkatpos ngayon naandito ka lang di ka makalabas ng bahay, eh dadalawa lang kami ng misis ko dito, anak ko naman nasa kabilang bahay. Mahirap para amin na senior citizen,” Rey shared.
He is also thinking about his fellow stuntmen who are most probably undergoing the same financial crisis as him. The senior citizen stuntman hoped that they will receive assistance from the government.
Based on the article, he is also reaching out to Coco Martin for whatever help the actor can give them. Rey also said that he will do what he can top repay the Ang Probinsyano actor for his help.
“Hindi na po kami nagkita simula nu’ng cast party ng Probinsyano. Direk Coco, pagka kailangan mo sa sa mga susunod pang araw, sana isama mo ako sa mga project mo,” Rey said.
