Disappointed Loyal Viewer Throws TV Due to Network’s Shutdown Goes Viral
CAPIZ – Another disappointed loyal viewer throw their flat screen TV outside of their house because the media giant ABS-CBN is now gone.
In a video uploaded by Mira Escalada Ledesma, shows a man who is disappointed at the ABS-CBN shutdown, he threw their television outside the house. The man identified as Patricio Escalada Jr. to be out of the home while holding a flat screen TV.
Ledesma, the sister, attempt to stop his brother for what he will do to the TV. Seconds later, the man threw the television, the old woman on the video can also be heard shocked and scream.
Mira Escalada Ledesma’s video uploaded this Wednesday garnered almost 900,000 views on social media and earned various reactions from the netizens. Netizens say it was scripted and nothing is funny, however, Ledesma said they were just expressing their disappointment and didn’t expect that they will become viral.
It was Tuesday night when ABS-CBN stopped airing, following a cease and desist order issued by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC). The license of the network to operate expired on Monday.
As a result, many loyal viewers, employees, and talents of the media giant were shocked by the news. They express dismay after the shutdown of their favorite TV network.
