BRAINTEASERS: Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery | Answer, Explanation
BRAINTEASERS – In this topic, we are going to know the answer and explanation of the “Sherlock Holmes Murder Mystery” brainteaser.

The Oxford dictionary defines brainteasers as problems or puzzles, typically those designed to be solved for amusement. It is the informal term of puzzles, problems, or riddles.
It is a type of puzzle where it is hard to find the answer but amuses people as they try to solve it. The problems seems simple enough but tricks you into answering the wrong question.
This time we are going to solve a murder mystery type. Here is the following riddle:
Sherlock breaks into a crime scene. The victim is the owner who is slumped dead on a chair and have a bullet hole in his head. A gun lies on the floor and a cassette recorder is found on the table. On pressing the play button, Sherlock hears the message ‘I have committed sins in my life and now I offer my soul to the great Lord’ and followed a gunshot Sherlock smiles and informed the police that’s its a murder.
Why did he think so?
Answer and Explanation
It is a murder since the dead cannot rewind back the tape himself after getting shot in the head.
If it is not a murder scene, then the tape could have not rewind back by the victim, since he’s dead. Which could mean someone shot the victim in the head, then rewinds back the tape.
It is however, hinted when Sherlock pressed the play button. If it wasn’t a murder, then the message couldn’t have been played, and he has to rewind back the tape to hear the message.
