Puwede lang po mag-operate sa GCQ. Kung ang flights galing GCQ, ‘yung airport na pupuntahan nila ay under enhanced community quarantine, may problema
(They can operate in GCQ areas. If the flights come from an area under GCQ and the destination aiport is under Enhanced Community Quarantine, there’s a problem).
As per the report, he emphasized that both airports should be under GCQ to continue operations. Moreover, the CAAP spokesperson said DOTr Secretary Arthur Tugade ordered CAAP Director Gneral Jim Sydiongco to consider gradually opening domestic airports.
However, when airports start to continue operations, a “new normal” should be imposed. As such, Apolonio said that health protocols would be considered as operations would begin.
Furthermore, physical distancing between passengers and wearing necessary protective equipment would be imposed. Previously, Cebu Pacific stated that a way to impose social distancing in flights is leaving the middle seat open.
