Three Persons Arrested In Valenzuela City For Illegal Drugs
VALENZUELA CITY – Three persons, among them were a couple, were arrested in a buy-bust operation in Valenzuela City.
According to a report from GMA’s Balitambayan, a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Balangkas in the said city led to the arrest of three individuals.
One of them claimed that he did this crime so that he could buy a cellphone for his child.
The three individuals, identified as couples Marvin Castillo and Ligaya Castillo; and the drug source JP Bautista, were the targets of the operation.
Police reports states that the couple wanted to purchase a cellphone in exchange of drugs.
Retrieved from the suspects were 7- grams of suspected shabu worth at around ₱500,000. The scope of the said operation reached to Manila, rather than in just the CAMANAVA area.
As per the report, Marvin admitted that he did so in order for him to afford the cellphone his child wanted. As for Ligaya, She was unaware that her husband was involved in drugs.
“Ang alam ko lang po bibili si Marvin ng cellphone. Yun lang po ang alam ko,”
Furthermore, Bautista made no statement.
