Vico Sotto Says Pasig Almost Done Distributing Cash-Aid To Low Income Households

PASIG DONE DISTRIBUTING CASH-AID – Pasig City has become a model city in dealing with the coronavirus crisis.

As such, the City, especially its Mayor, Vico Sotto had received well-deserved praise from due to his decisive actions. Moreover, the Mayor announced that they are almost done distributing cash assistance to low-income families this week.

According to an article from ABS-CBN, Sotto stated that the city had distributed less than half of the P750 million cash aid budget. Furthermore, around 93,000 households within the city have received aid.

As per the report, Sotto also stated that the city would be expediting the release of the national government’s cash aid. This would be done for the distribution of financial aid to around 150,000 households not included from the DSWDs list.
