Barangay Captain Died After Godson in Wedding Severely Stab Him
BARANGAY CAPTAIN – a barangay chairman in San Pablo, Laguna died after his godson in wedding runs amuck and severely stab him until he dies.
In a report of GMA News, a 57-year-old Barangay Sta. Chairman Larry Rosales was killed after his godson stabbed him to death on Tuesday morning. The chairman was talking to the suspect when he suddenly released a jungle bolo from his bag.
In the CCTV footage shown, the suspect, Pablito Hernandez, 45, suddenly hit the captain in the neck. The suspect also threatened several residents who attempted to stop him.
The victim was able to enter the barangay hall but the suspect still chases and continues to stab him. As a result, he was put to death. Apparently not yet satisfied, the suspect also stabs the ambulance and tricycle parked outside the barangay hall.
The suspect was only got arrested when he was shot by SWAT who responded to the incident. Hernandez was shot in the leg after he refused to surrender to the authorities.
He will be taken to jail after being wound treated and facing murder charges. According to the report of PinayCare, the reason of brutality is when he was not included in the list of the residents who will be given SAP or social amelioration program cash aid.
