Frontliner Offers Ride to Elder Man Who Walks for 2 Days to get to Manila
A kind frontliner offers a free ride to an elderly man from Pampanga who is walking for 2 days to seek help in Manila goes viral.
Recently, a netizen on Twitter shared a pitiful situation of an elderly man from Pampanga who decided to take a walk amid enhanced community quarantine just to ask for help to his brother in Manila.
In a twitter post of Win Enriquez, he said that he saw a man walking the stretch of North Luzon Expressway (NLEX). The old man was carrying a plastic bag with some personal stuff and some mangoes he picked along the way.
This is the only thing he carries with his journey to Manila. The man allegedly was walking for 2 days wearing only slippers under the scorching heat of the sun.
Fortunately, Enriquez spotted him while he was passing through the express way. He went out of his vehicle and approach the old to offer him a ride. Enriquez shared that the old man prayed for a miracle then Enriquez was his miracle on that day.
“On my way to Manila and saw tatay walking along NLEX. Told me 2nd day na daw niya naglalakad. He started in Pampanga daw and headed to Manila to ask help from his brother because he’s got nothing to eat. Nakaraos daw siya sa mga mangga na napipitas habang naglalakad,”Enriquez wrote in his Twitter.
