Parish Priest Walks Around the Street of Laguna to Bless People Inspires Netizens
Video footage of a parish priest walking around the street of Laguna City under the heat of the sun and to bless people amid pandemic crisis.
Recently, a Facebook page named San Isidro Labrador Parish-Makiling shared video footage of their parish priest of the San Isidro Labrador Parish in Calamba, Laguna, named Fr.Eugene Fadul.
Video shows Fr. Fadul carrying a blessed sacrament walking around the empty streets of Brgy. Makiling to bless residents and pray for the healing of the world amid the pandemic. Father Fadul is stopping to every window or doors he passes through to pray over.
Some residents even greeted him from afar; telling their parish leader to take care of himself while roaming around the neighborhood. The Facebook page also expresses their gratitude to the priest for his blessings.
“Salamat po Fr. Eugene sa inyong pagbabasbas sa Barangay Makiling. The Lord is our protector. Continue to pray for our protection,” written on the Facebook page post.
The video has gone viral on social media as many netizens praise Father Fadul for his sacrifice for his parish while residents of parishioners are not allowed to go out and cannot go to church because of the still ongoing enhanced community quarantine.
