Man Beaten By Drunks While Trying To Give Free Face Masks
MAN TRYING TO GIVE FACE MASKS – A man giving away free face masks was assaulted by drunks In Iligan City.
According to reports from Hot And Popular, the incident happened to Jun Bado. He was whole-heartedly giving away free face masks amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, while he was giving away the masks, he was targetted by drunkards. He got beaten and required bandages for the head injury he got.
Additionally, his eyes also got red because of the beatings. Moreover, he also got a broken arm from the incident. As per the article, the incident happened at Barangay Hinaplanon in Iligan City.
Even though he was assaulted, Jun said that he won’t file cases against the people who beat him. Meanwhile, the police urged those trying to help to communicate with them so that they could provide protection.
In these times, we all need to lend a helping hand especially to those who need it. Even before the virus spread in the Philippines, several necessary items like face masks were hoarded.
As such, people like Jun are such a rarity in these times of crisis. Likewise, netizens were left saddened by the state Jun was in and what he had to go through.
