Jessica Soho and Vicky Morales Lauded by Netizens in During Pimentel’s Interview
Netizens lauded GMA News “24 Oras” news anchors Jessica Soho and Vicky Morales for handling the interview of Sen. Koko Pimentel amid issue.
Based on our previous article, the lawmaker Senator Koko Pimentel III was tested positive with coronavirus diseases 2019 (COVID-19). He is the second one from the senate to have the contagious disease after Sen. Migz Zubiri.
Pimentel’s swab for testing was taken last March 20, 2020, and it was last night March 24, when the results came out. He was at the hospital when he found he was positive, while he accompanied his pregnant wife.
Pimentel is facing controversy after he allegedly exposed some staff of Makati Medical Center to COVID-19. As a result, the senator received a backlash and the Makati Medical Center (MMC) denounced his “irresponsible and reckless” behavior.
Meanwhile, on GMA News “24 Oras” March 25, Wednesday, news anchor Jessica Soho was tasked to interview Senator Pimentel to which she directly asked the following questions regarding accusations on him.

Meanwhile, Vicky Morales is also tasked to interview Dr. Bong Javier, the medical director of Makati Medical Center. Vicky expresses her disappointment over the actions of Senator Pimentel.
GMA reporter expressed,“Doc, medyo nakakagalit, nakaka-lungkot itong nangyari sa hanay ng mga health workers sa Makati Medical Center. I can just imagine siguro umu-usok yung mga chat group ng mga doktor sa mga sandaling ito.”
