In a report from GMA News, in an advisory, the airlines said that all remaining international flights will be temporarily postponed starting Thursday, March 26 until the 14th of April.

PAL suspended domestic flight travel on March 17, 2020. It added that it could no longer even contain a limited number of foreign travel after careful consideration. This is because of the following reasons:

  • strict travel and entry ban which many nations implemented;
  • travel demand collapsing;
  • ongoing challenges in staffing its hub in Manila airport amid the lockdown.

As per the report, PAL said that PR 104 heading to San Francisco at 10:10 PM, March 25 will be the last flight to depart.

It said that it aimed to resume operations on April 15 should the Philippine and foreign authorities, worldwide public health status, and travel environment allow it.

The airlines added that it will fixate to conserve its resources, expecting recovery and tending for the needs of its staff while it prepares its fleet for the resuming of operations.
