Truck Accident In Zamboanga Del Sur Left With 10 Dead
ZAMBOANGA DEL SUR – Ten individuals were dead after a truck tumbled in Pitogo town, Zamboanga Del on Sunday afternoon (March 15).
According to ABS-CBN, initial investigation reports show that the truck’s break malfunctioned, hence, the driver lost control of the vehicle.
The victims who were inside the truck stumbled as they were holding the wood where they supposed to make a boat out of, police said.
As per the report, eight of these fatalities were declared dead on the spot. The two other fatalities were taken to the hospital but they, too, succumbed to their wounds and died.
In another accident report, on March 13, four people died and many more were injured in a road accident in Compostela town, Cebu.
A passenger van was supposed to head south while the bus was heading north when the accident happened at around 2 AM on Sitio Ipil-Ipil, Barangay Estaca.
Some of the injured passengers are being treated at the Danao Provincial Hospital as pf the moment.
