This includes the on-going PBA Philippine Cup and PBA D-League Aspirants Cup games and activities and PBA 3×3 inaugurals until further notice to ensure the health and safety of our fans, players, teams, officials, and staff, based on the official statement.

In a press conference held on the morning of March 11, PBA Commissioner Willie Marcial said that they are aware that the schedule of the games will be affected but they are more concerned about the health of the people. They are not also looking at what could be the impact of the cancellation of the games when it comes to the financial aspect.

However, Marcial said that the game tickets that were already bought can still be used if the games will resume. The Commissioner also said that a memo was already released informing the teams regarding the game cancellation.

On the other hand, teams can still have their practices and other activities. Marcial added that they are thinking of the possible options to approach this matter, especially that they should cope up with the schedule.

Before the press conference ended, Marcial said thank you to everyone and asked for prayers that this problem will soon end.
